NEW EVENT! – HUNT THE THING TO WIN A MOTHERSHIP!

Starting today players hunting the THING will be able to tally their highest Global or HoF loot per month from a single THING kill to create a combined high score to compete to win the MacReady Mothership. Players may choose their top three single highest monthly global or HoF loots over a 6 month period to arrive at their high score. The Mothership will be awarded in August.

The MacReady Mothership can be used to ferry passengers for a fee between multiple virtual worlds within Entropia Universe.

New players who wish to get a leg up with some free gear to Hunt The THING can attempt to locate and assist the infamous avatar NEVERDIE, who has joined the fight to rid the world of The THING. NEVERDIE went missing when his helicopter transporting a supply of flamethrowers and armor crashed into the ROCKtropia Antarctic. The exact location of the downed chopper is unknown, but fragmented distress signals are being received via Facebook.com/rocktropia and Twitter @MYrocktropia and provide clues to his location and the whereabouts of his scattered precious cargo.

Players Must Post their Highest Loot Screenshots with date and time Stamps in this thread each month at the end of July the Highest Scores from 3 months will be combined to determine each players high Score.

Entries are restricted to single players only not teams.

For the Purpose of these event rules a Global includes “HOFs and ATHs”.
Start Date January 31st – July 31st th (Via the in world Clock – Press U to check the time)
Out of the 6 month time frame only The Highest single Global from three of the months will be combined.

Globals will be counted on The THING Mobs only!

ALL Global Screenshots must include the position (in game hot key = P) and timestamps (in game hot key = U) with the global message in the chat box.

If there is any confusion over these rules common sense may apply, but clarifications to rules will be made during the course of the event if neccesarry in The Main Event Thread. KNOWN ISSUES

• Jarhead Armor (C) blueprint is producing Limited armor parts.  In the next VU those same items will become unlimited.
• Pop Dragon Mission Chain is currently bugged.  It will not count your kills.
• Some textures have known to show up as the ¨RED X¨ for some but not all users.  The famous RED X however can still be put into the texturizer window and it will apply the texture as intended.
• A few BPs have the wrong description. They have been fixed and will be seen in the next VU.

• Outposts added to City of Dreams.
  - These outposts feature full access to storage, repair, trade and auction systems.
  - They are located in and around popular mob spawns to increase the speed in which you can hunt your favorite mobs. Take some time to fly or drive around COD to find them all.  Aprox (15 new outposts have been added)
• National Guard Helicopter Pilots deployed to City of Dreams and the Arctic.
  - The National Guard have been deployed to the City of Dreams and the Arctic in an effort to add extra security against the wild creatures that have been attacking locals. You can find helicopter pilots that will take you anywhere you need to go free of charge. Take some time to explore COD to find all the new teleporter locations (aprox 5 locations added)

  - In an effort to make the streets safe for shoppers, the national guard have executed operation Winklepicker and have successfully removed all rioters from the London backlot.  Shopping around the Funky Junction is now safe once again!

  -Expect your favorite jolly red man to deliver something sweet to you close to Christmas. (Only those who made the naughty list will get something. LOL)
• Rent has been abolished
  - The powers that be have decided that rent prices were too high! As a result, ROCKtropia estates are now free of any rental costs. This rent removal only applies to bars and shops at the moment because they are the only estates that are fully functional. When the apartments get fixed (Next VU), they will share in the same reduction.
• Item block removed from the Arctic
  - In an effort to help combat the ongoing Thing infection, the National Guard has been instructed to permit locals to import weapons, armors, vehicles and other items from any other planet to utilize in the Arctic.

FIXED ISSUES

  - Could not Execute error resolved

  - Creative Juice Blueprint has been reworked
• General Quest Fixes
  - Tons of fixes and improvements have been done to ROCKtropia quests and missions. If you still have any outstanding issues please let us know but the vast majority of quests have been fixed or enhanced.
• Shops and Bars have re-opened for business!
  - All shops and bars in London have been fixed and are ready for business again. Take some time to visit the new and improved shops.
  - Item points in bars and shops have been increased
• London Backlot Optimization
  - The overall performance and frame rates in and around London have been improved considerably.

KNOWN ISSUES

• Deer-A-Pooloza!
  - It seems like the deer population have been listening to alot of Barry White music lately and as a result, the deer population has exploded in parts of city of dreams. Do your part and help control the deer population.
• Space landing port location incorrect.
  -When arriving from space, you will land in and around Evil Cathedral. By the next VU, you should land around Club NEVERDIE in City of Dreams.
• Memory leak around New Harlem.
  - Investigations continue and we hope to have this resolved very soon
• Ballister Apartments still not functioning
• Firewall Armor BP GENDER bug
  - Currently the Mk-III arm guards can only make female versions of the armor.  (Fixed in next VU)
• Oil and Beer Spawners dried up.
  -This is just a minor bugged should be fixed soon.
• Logans Peak TP bugged
